Richard Nance was presumed to be born in 1604 (Christened September 9, 1610 at Rosecarnon Manor, St. Kerverne, Cornwall, England. Is believed that he left England in 1620 as an indentured servant.

It is believed that my ancestor Richard Nance (of Virginia) is this same Richard Nance of Cornwall. Regardless, the Richard Nance of Charles City, Virginia (first registered in the 1624 census) my ancestor.
